Weather Line App Reviews

Ive been using WeatherLine for years and its literally changed my life. Up to the minute weather predictions means I know if I just take the time to finish my coffee, it will stop raining long enough for me to get to my car without getting drenched. It also presents so much data in an easy to process and visual way, you can just skim and know the forecast. Its so efficient that Ive been using it even though this long awaited update hadnt been released in over a year!

This is the best designed weather app Ive seen. In the past it didnt seem so accurate, but got a lot better. To test it, I wrote down its 7 day forecast for Ottawa a week ago, and compared to the actual weather each day. Actual high each day was within 1-2 degrees of what it predicted at the start of the week (at least as good as Environment Canada forecast), and its prediction for which days would be rainy, just a bit of rain or no rain were bang-on for the whole week.

Excellent design.

Which is kind of lame because I keep bracing for a cold snap in vancouver.

I really like the way the weather for the day, week and month is displayed.

Really like it, it shows all you need plus more in a simple and understanable way. This is the weather app I have been looking for sooo long!

Please add support of Russian cities and Russian language. Apart from that all good, well done!

As always, all weather apps are cute, nice to read but inaccurate in Italy (or at least in the north, where I live). Its a pity.

This has the best balance of all the weather apps I have tried.

The app is outstanding. Its clean, delivers information quickly, no scrolling or anything required. Its got great accurate prediction. I love the line graph concept. I enjoy using it and its my main weather app. But the information it provides could use some tweaking. I dont know what use dew point has to the regular app customer. Instead, I feel the days UV index, amount of predicted precipitation, and visibility would be much better information to provide. My two cents. To make space, remove dew point and move sunrise and sunset into the hourly view line graph. And please make it so that I can scroll back from "now" up until midnight of the same day.

Looks fantastic, seems to be accurate (to the extent that this is possible). Im a big fan of Dark Sky and will be interested to see how Forecast compares as a source of weather data. I would like to see a heavy line of some other indicator to mark the days in hourly view. This is my only nitpick - ease of use and functionality are superb in every other regard.

This is an alright, simple weather app. And for that it definitely serves its purpose. I have two minor issues. 1. The weather icons dont necessarily correspond to their weather condition visually. When I see mostly cloudys icon, I think itll be considerably sunnier than it will be. Now I can very easily READ the condition, but in the interest of a quick glance, this becomes an issue. Also, the overcast shows a little sun peeking through over the clouds. This is flat out inaccurate. 2. Very minor, but when scrolling through the hourly tab, itd be nice if there were some indication of what day youre on. Not that big of a deal, just noting.

Stop looking, youre done. This is the one you have been trying to find. This is the one weather app to rule them all. And this is from someone who probably has over 40 of this kind of app downloaded. I know thats not much of a description, but look at the pictures, and read the reviews. It is superb.

Accurate weather, elegantly and quietly presented. I stuck with Weatherline for months waiting for the iPhone 6 update, and Im so glad I did.

The addition of Dew Point sold me (so few apps seem to have it, and I make use of it), and the format is clean and just the way I like to view my weather. It could be a bit more configurable, but in general I think this is about the best there is.

Absolutely fantastic… I have downloaded and tried a lot of different weather apps, and this definitely presents the most information in a concise format, and with absolutely nothing extraneous. No scrolling, no hassle, really really clean display. Highly recommended.

Fantastic weather display and a great compliment to forecast.io’s web interface. App is snappy and quick to use. Any chance of a notification center widget? Would also enjoy if it pulled in the radar images from forecast as well

I was a long time user of TWC but got tired of unreliable weather forecasts. Other weather app alternatives to TWC dont have an interface that is SO simple to understand at a glance like Weather Line. I also like that this app gathers information from the same source as the highly reliable and acclaimed app called "Dark Sky," as opposed to where TWC and Yahoo get their forecasts. Overall, this app is easily worth the low price tag. Its really fantastic and I like the interface better than Dark Sky. It is just easier to read weather information quickly w/o much thought. Also, ACCURACY is important, which TWC definitely is not keen on.
